Shipping Instructions:

Please include with your shipment a letter that includes the following information:

The make, model, and serial number of the firearm.

Detailed list of all the work you want done

Statement that you are the legal owner of the firearm. This allows us to return the firearm directly to you without going through an FFL.

Daytime phone number and Email if available so we can reach you if we have questions.

The return address where the completed work is to be returned to.

Unless prior arrangements are made always include a money order or cashier's check for the amount quoted including the return shipping. Please make money orders or cashier's checks payable to SALBO Arms

SALBO Arms is not responsible for lost or damaged items during return shipping. We will insure for whatever amount you request but you must request an amount before we can purchase it on return shipping. Claims must be addressed with the shipper.

Please Remember:

Make sure your firearm is unloaded.

Package your firearm well and insure it for it's value. USPS Overnight boxes are available at no charge from the Post Office for handguns.

Insurance is optional but we do recommend it highly. We will not be held responsible for guns that are lost or damaged in transit, insured or otherwise. Items that are insured are the responsibility of the carrier.

Please do not send accessories or magazines that are not to be refinished, like slings and scopes.

If you have Titrium sights please make us aware of it

Personal delivery and pickups are by appointment only and must be arranged ahead of time.

Never send us a gun without prior approval and a shipping date....This protects you the owner as well as SALBO Arms.

Refinish prices do not include return shipping or handling. Please allow for return shipping charges when purchasing your Money Order or Cashier's Check

We do ask that firearms be shipped to us in a container with sufficient padding that it can be reused to return it to you. Please remember that completed assembled firearms require larger boxes than the parts kits and unassembled weapons that you send us. If we have to purchase packing materials we will be forced to pass the cost on to the customer.

We will return your firearms or parts by USPS Priority, Express, Overnight Mail or UPS Ground services

Additionally, please do not write "gun" or "firearm" on the outside of the package anywhere. The intent is not to be deceptive as to the contents of the package, but to not give potential thieves any reason to go after your package during transit.

Please keep in mind carrier insurance contracts are with the carrier only and it is NOT A GUARANTEE on our part that the carrier will pay the claim. All firearms and parts are shipped at your own risk and we are not liable for the loss or damage of your firearm once it has been received by the shipper or through circumstances outside of our control, including Acts of God. We will only add insurance to a package when specifically requested by the owner and funds to cover the insurance have been paid prior to shipment.

While we take great care of your firearms and provide a deep level of security with them SalBO Arms is not responsible for accidental damage or loss while in our possession.
