Bobby, My tantal arrived today along with six "in-the-wrap" magazines from another dealer! I wish every day could be this exciting at the post office! I have to tell you that your build of my tantal is over the top. I don't think there is a commercial manufacturer that could touch it for the quality of work and the perfect finish. What I find so incredible about your work is the extreme attention to detail. Nothing is left to chance and there are no shortcuts. The inside looks as good as the outside. What really makes it a pleasure to work with you is that not only do you do what you say you are going to, you go beyond. I took it out of the box, wiped it down and added my new "in-the-wrap" Polish military canvas sling and just sat there like a kid looking at it. It is going to get topped by a new Kobra sight on the side rail. As soon as my paperwork clears for the Krink I will be sending it your way for an SBR build. I am guessing it will be after the first of the year, depending on the BATFE. Again, thanks for an incredible build -- it is off to the range this weekend with a couple of hunred rounds! I recently had Bobby do a FAL for me from a kit I had. Little did I know what I was in store for. Although very sick (hospital stay and all) he worked extra hard to get me my rifle before Christmas. I sent Salbo Arms two challenging handguns to be completely refinished. Both of the these handguns, a Colt Model 1903 and a Remington Model 51, were originally manufactured in the 1920's so they are not guns that are commonly worked on these days. Even so, Bobby did an excellent job with the disassembly, bead blasting, refinishing and reassembly of these handguns. The finish work was exactly as requested and flawless, helping to make these classic guns look and shoot great for my children and grandchildren for another 80 years. Not only was the work performed by Salbo Arms fantastic, but doing business with Bobby was a great experiance as well. We scheduled the work to be done in advance, we stayed right on schedule, and he updated me on each step through the process from receiving my firearms through shipping them back to me. Bobby- You're a true Artisan! My original plan was to have you refinish 2 of my FAL ( an Imbel and G1) as "shooters." When I received the completed product, they are just too nice to shoot. I cannot bring myself to shoot them. Now they've become safe queens. The exquisite attention to details is unbelievable. Thanks to you, I now have to go and find 2 more kits to be "shooters." I was so impressed with your work that I also sent a Browning High Power and a Sig Sauer 229 to be refinished. The results were the same, a perfect 10! I will cherish all these firearms rest of my life and they will be passed down to the next generation. You will get all my refinishing jobs in the future. I will be sending you my AKs next. SalBO Arms did a fantastic job on two FAL kits that I had. Attention to detail is what Bobby is all about! Every time that I take my FAL's to the range, I get oh's and ahh's. No one can believe that these were made from parts kits! I have one with the penguin, and one with iron wood walnut stocks. Hello Bobby, I think you will remember me, I sent you the Bulgarian Makarov that you refinished for me and you have the photo on your Web Site. I'm about ready to send you my AK-47 and one extra 30 rnd. Magazine (steel) for you to refinish. I finally got the right box to ship it to you in. I will probably call you this week to set things up and talk to you about the finnish that I'll want on it. So I'll be in touch soon. I as well as my friends thought that you did a great job on the Makarov. We were holding shooting qualifications on my home range a week ago Sunday and I had brought the Makarov out to the range as I wanted my friend to see how well it shot after the new Novak Sights were installed. I had it on a bench I have out on the Pistol Range for the Students to put there Ammo etc, I had more people comment on how great the Gun Looked and wanted to know all about it. Of course I told them about Salbo Arms and gave them your contact info just in the event they wanted some future work done! Bobby, I'm mailing you another SPR barrel for the matte black KG Gunkote treatment either this afternoon or Monday. When I was preparing to install one of the last two barrels you did for me I positioned the suppressor collar wrong and let the Loctite dry. So I heated it up with a propane torch to move it, probably close to 300 degrees and the finish wasn't affected at all. Still looks the same. That Gunkote is pretty good stuff. Gus from ME

Bobby, I went to the Post Office today to pick up my Romanin AK after your build and finish of my "kit" in AK black. I have to tell you how pleased I am at the incredible quality of the workmanship and atttention to even the smallest detail. You followed my written instruction to the letter and even made suggestions for improvements based on your experience. The AK black finish you do is incredible, besides the fact it is flawless, it replicates the original finish in a much more durable form. Thanks for talking me out of black parkerizing as the final finish. The other thing that impressed me was how well you communicate with your customers. I really cannot say enough about your quality work other than in a week or so my number two Romanin kit will be on the way for your attention. I am planning a trip to the range tomorrow and I know that the gun is going to be a problem.
